Nora Ali is the Co-Founder and CEO of Mason Media, a full-service production company and brand studio co-founded by Alex Rodriguez, Marc Lore, and CEO, Nora Ali. The company produces original premium non-scripted and scripted content, and provides content services for brands and companies through its branded content studio. Mason Media specializes in delivering powerful material centered around the realms of business, sports, innovation, entrepreneurship, and forward-thinking, with a mission to elevate historically overlooked voices.
Nora was recently the host of the Business Casual podcast from Morning Brew, and previously an anchor on Cheddar, a business and technology-focused news network.
At Cheddar, Nora helped pitch and launch several specialty series, including Fast Forward: Life After Covid-19, All Hands: Race Toward Inclusion, Business of Buying, and Future of Food.
Before launching into media, Nora was a Senior Product Manager for end-to-end customer experience at the e-commerce company Jet.com, which she joined prior to its launch and acquisition by Walmart for $3.3 billion. She helped build the Marketing Technology team and spearheaded a new beta-testing team with designers, engineers, and product leaders. Before Jet, Nora was an Asian Equities Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where she advised major institutional investors on equity investments and IPOs across Asian markets.
Playing violin and piano since she was four years old, Nora has appeared on national television and radio programs and has soloed with several professional orchestras. She graduated with a B.A. in Statistics and Quantitative Finance from Harvard University, and was the Concertmaster of the Harvard Pops Orchestra. Nora grew up in Minnesota and currently lives in New York City, but somehow still hasn’t quite figured out how to exist effectively in cold weather… perhaps it’s her Bangladeshi roots.
